Create, innovate, and recover: Digitalizing creative industries for a sustainable recovery in Africa - September 2021
The Online dialogue is organized by UNIDO, UNCTAD, and Sound Diplomacy, as an official session of the Global Services Forum Week 2021, contributing to the 15th Session of the Ministerial Conference of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD15) in October 2021, which theme is “From inequality and vulnerability to prosperity for all.”
UNIDO at EU Industry Day - 2021 March
The EU Industry Day is Europe’s flagship annual event on industry. It serves as the main platform to discuss industrial challenges and co-develop opportunities and policy responses in an inclusive dialogue with a wide range of partners.
UNIDO has organized three events during the EU Industry Week 2021, run by the European Commission’s Directorate General of Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (DG GROW)

Session I: UNIDO EU Industry Week webinar series starts with a focus on investment and technology promotion
VIENNA, 4 March 2021 - The first multi-stakeholder dialogue highlighted the long-standing cooperation between UNIDO, the European Union (EU), and the Organization of African Caribbean Pacific States (OACPS), with a particular emphasis on investment and technology promotion initiatives for the increased competitiveness of developing countries.

Brussels/Rome, 10 March 2021 – After the successful first event held with the UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion (ITP) Network in Vienna, the UNIDO Brussels Liaison Office and UNIDO ITP Office in Italy co-organized the second UNIDO virtual dialogue in the framework of the EU Industry Week 2021.

Session III: Investment and technology transfer from Germany as driver for economic development in Europe and Africa

UNIDO co-organized events with Sahel Alliance
The Sahel Alliance intends to help the Sahelian countries—Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso and Chad restore the foundations of stable societies to create a sustainable development and peace in the Sahel.
